Crow Agency put on lockdown Monday after shooting

Suspects apprehended in Garryowen

Reports of a shooting in Crow Agency caused a social media frenzy late Monday afternoon.

According to witnesses, Crow Agency and Lodge Grass Public Schools were on lockdown until after 3:30 when it was confirmed by the Bureau of Indian Affairs that the suspects had been captured.

Eyewitnesses in the Garryowen area reported multiple people in one vehicle were arrested by Crow Agency Bureau of Indian Affairs police officers following a short police pursuit near Whistling Water Loop. No names have been released.
