Snow, sleet freeze highway, delay school

Winter weather has caused difficult driving conditions across the Crow Indian Reservation and the surrounding areas.

Blowing snow and slush have also led to school delays and closures.

Interstate 90 from Billings to Sheridan has reduced visibility and road conditions are severe throughout many areas along the road with blowing snow, ice and reduced visibility, according to the Montana Department of Transportation,

Pretty Eagle Catholic Academy will be closed Thursday, Nov. 17.

Wyola Public Schools, which has been closed this week due to a water line breakage, will remain closed through Friday, Nov. 18.

Lodge Grass Public Schools, which initially announced a delayed start has now canceled school on Thursday.

The Crow Tribal administration staff will begin their work day on Thursday at 10 a.m. Essential programs will start at their regular time.
