In honor of Indigenous People’s Day, Lodge Grass Schools is hosting a best dressed competition in both the elementary school and the JR/SR high school.
Students will be judged on their Native design apparel, ribbon skirts, beadwork, and other jewelry. The contest will be on Monday, Oct 10.
The school is also hosting a powwow at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, October 11. The powwow will feature only Crow Style contests to compliment the theme of “Honoring the Past, Present and Future”. Prizes will be awarded. The community is welcome to attend the powwow in the high school gymnasium.
