Seven Crow collegiate rodeo athletes opened fall rodeo season with two days of competition in Cody, Wyoming at the Northwest College Rodeo.

Rope Tie Three Irons, Hance Three Irons, Talen Cummins and Tobin Cummins compete for Montana State University, Northern; Gunner Plenty, Kaden Small and Tate Birdinground compete for Northwest College in Powell, Wyoming; and Clint Augare competes for Dawson Community College.

On Sept. 8, Hance Three Irons was the second place team roping header with 9.0 points and Rope Tie Three Irons was the second place team roping heeler with 9.0 points.

Overall team results are as follows: 1st University of Montana, Western-681.00; 2st Montana State University-258.00; 3rd Dawson Community College-254.50; 4th Montana State University, Northern-252.00; 5th Miles Community College-214.00; 6th Northwest College-126.00.

On Sept. 9, Gunner Plenty was the first place team roping header with 8.3 points.

Overall team results are as follows: 1st Montana State University-474.00; 2nd Miles Community College-410.00; 3rd Northwest College-359.00; 4th University of Montana, Western-252.00; 5th Montana State University, Northern-177.00; 6th Dawson Community College-59.50.
